Ingeniero Industrial, Ingeniero de Organizaci\u00f3n Industrial, Ingeniero de Materiales, M\u00e1ster en Gesti\u00f3n de Empresas, Productos y Servicios, MBA Professional, Doctor en Administraci\u00f3n y Direcci\u00f3n de Empresas. Con dos sexenios de investigaci\u00f3n, ha centrado sus investigaciones en el estudio de la eco-innovaci\u00f3n y la innovaci\u00f3n social en distintos sectores con especial atenci\u00f3n al sector hotelero, realizando numerosas publicaciones en revistas investigaci\u00f3n. Es experto en t\u00e9cnicas de an\u00e1lisis cuantitativo, participando como consultor para Eurostat en el desarrollo y medici\u00f3n de indicadores para Ecosistemas industriales. El profesor Peir\u00f3 ha trabajado en tareas de gesti\u00f3n de operaciones para la industria de la alimentaci\u00f3n durante 6 a\u00f1os y como t\u00e9cnico externo en el \u00e1rea de urbanismo y medioambiente para entidades locales (5 a\u00f1os). Ha realizado estancias en la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cornell.edu\/\">Universidad de Cornell (USA)<\/a>, en el <a href=\"https:\/\/sha.cornell.edu\/faculty-research\/centers-institutes\/chr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Center for Hospitality Research (CHR)<\/a> de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bath.ac.uk\/schools\/school-of-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">School of Hotel Administration<\/a> (2011-2012), en el <a href=\"https:\/\/ihf.cornell.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures<\/a> (2016 y 2018) y en la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bath.ac.uk\/schools\/school-of-management\/\">School of Management de la University of Bath en UK<\/a> (2014). Ha sido investigador asociado del CHR en 2012 y 2013, y participando como ponente en 2 ocasiones en la Mesa redonda sobre sostenibilidad y en el Cornell Hospitality Research Summit, a las que asisten los ejecutivos de las principales cadenas hoteleras mundiales.
