Web intelligence for measuring emerging economic trends: the drone industry.
A project developed for Eurostat that used searches of company websites in one sector to measure trends in emerging sectors, using the drone sector as a basis but generating methods that can be generalised to other sectors. The project, coordinated by GOPA, was carried out with a team made up of data scientists from Statistics Netherlands, led by Professor Piet Daas, and researchers from the UPV with previous experience in analysing the drone sector (Blanca de Miguel, María de Miguel and Virginia Santamarina).

Methodological Support for Structural Business Statistics, Business Demography and Confidentiality.
A project developed for Eurostat that analyses the information available on the Internet and databases on variables included in Eurostat's SBS and which indicate confidential data. The project also participated in developing monitoring indicators for Industrial Ecosystems defined by the European Union and their calculation methodology. The project, coordinated by GOPA, was carried out with a team of data scientists from Statistics Netherlands and researchers from the UPV.
